This is funny and intriguing, David! I looked it up, and today it costs $2800 out-of-pocket to have a baby. They medical system has taken over our pocketbooks! Yet, children were much more healthy in those days. When I was a child in the 60s, we had one girl who had allergies, and she was considered sickly. We had no kids who were overweight, had diabetes or autism.
Rather than these huge practices today, let's bring back Dr. Kingsley!
